Ramón Clavijo – My name is Ramón Clavijo, I am from Galicia, Spain, and I am the co-founder of Iria Flavia Academy. I graduated from University of Santiago de Compostela with a degree in English Philology, but I started my professional career working as a Spanish teacher for foreigners at a school in my town. This experience made me passionate about teaching, hence the idea of opening my own school with my two partners in 1994. Our Language school is located in Santiago de Compostela and it is accredited by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes. In all these years we have received thousands of students from all ages (from the age fourteen) and nationalities, teaching adult groups, university students, and scholars both on site and online. We also offer language and culture immersion, courses on the Way to Saint James, and summer courses for Spanish teachers. My work requires me to travel so I meet lots of people from diverse cultures. I ensure that students have an unforgettable stay while in Santiago. Academia Iria Flavia
